The Individual:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of operational and financial management experience and must possess strong interpersonal, analytical, leadership, negotiation and project management skills. Our consultants are hard working, oriented toward assisting our clients in valuable ways, and thrive with project management and problem solving activities. We are financially astute, operationally-oriented, self-motivated, and highly technical professionals who believe in "rolling up our sleeves”. Other qualifications include:
- 7 to 10 years total professional work experience. Mix of industry and consulting experience would be ideal
- Consulting experience with one or more of the following firms: Alvarez and Marsal, Alix Partners, Accenture, AT Kearney, BCG, BAH, PRTM or the supply chain practices of Deloitte, E&Y, KPMG, PWC or their spinoffs
- Direct material sourcing and procurement experience
- Low cost country sourcing experience
- Supply chain planning (S&OP, demand planning, product planning and scheduling) experience
- Strong quantitative ability
- Ability to connect with leadership and management of clients
- Astute problem-solving capabilities (technical and interpersonal)
- Articulate complex subject matter in a clear and concise style
- Strong team player willing to help build the KGI team
- Excellent verbal and writing skills
- Ability to travel up to 25% if required (mostly western United States and overseas)
Key Duties and Responsibilities for our clients:
- Analyze a company's financial position, operations and competitive landscape
- Work well in high pressure environments
- Execute changes to a client’s operations working closely with c-suite to shop-floor personnel
Education:
- An undergraduate degree in business, economics, engineering or computer science is preferred
- An MBA from a top school is required
- Other professional certifications preferred but not required - APICS, ISM, Six Sigma
